ListHub has agreements in place with our publishers to provide protections for members’ listing data. ListHub worked with our industry partners to identify the core values and expectations that listing content owners have with respect to the use of their listing content when syndicated via ListHub.

Some of the core tenets that exist today for ListHub Publishers include:

  • The content owner maintains ownership of its content and control of syndication. Brokers have the right to opt-out at any time (no long-term commitment).
  • Derivative works are prohibited.
  • Listing data may not be used after it is off-market.
  • Publishers may not re-syndicate or distribute listing data to any third party – Publisher may have rights to power the search within their network of sites, if authorized.
  • Publishers must display a set of minimum fields on listing pages:

- MLS ID #

- Listing Address

- Listing Price

- Number of Bedrooms

- Number of Bathrooms

- Square Footage

- Listing Description

- Listing Agent Name

- Listing URL

- Listing Status (as provided by the Content Source)

- Listing Agent State Real Estate License Identification Number (should be displayed next to the listing agent name in a size that is no smaller than the smallest type used in the listing)

- Brokerage Name

- Broker Office Phone Number

- Copyright Disclaimer

- And all photos provided within the Licensed Content



  • MLS-sourced listing content cannot be overwritten with listing data from a third party and must be displayed as the highest ranking among other listing feeds.
  • If consumer leads are generated, leads must be routed to the listing broker or agent, these leads must be delivered specifically to the email address designated by the broker as the lead email address.
  • Publishers must update their listings daily at a minimum.
  • Publishers shall abide by any state laws regarding display of real estate content.
  • Publishers must provide search impressions, detail views, and lead data for all listings.
  • Publishers compliance audits conducted monthly.
  • Publishers may not require a method or payment for a consumer to see listing details provided by ListHub.
